DMGM Xtreme Matte Chubby Stick... Review

Well here I go with the review of this beautiful lady. I got this from Naheed super market last month and from that day it has been lying in my cosmetic box waiting to be reviewed. I decided reviewing about it at the moment i used it first time because I am simply in love with it .

My Personal Review:

first i love its look . Its so smooth and actually have a velvety texture. I like coral berry more this colour is so fresh. Cayenne pepper is little loud but still awsome to go . Well its not that much long lasting but yeah it will stay for 1 hours nearly unless you eat something .
I have applied coral berry in my previous blog Lip liner application (  link here )
it doesnt dry out neither crack on my lips . I would suggest you to have this lip colour . It comes in 10 different beautiful shades. It gives complete coverage to your lips .

PKR 1000/- got this from Naheed super market Buhadarabad Karachi.

My Doubts about It.

• It would be difficult to apply after its nib/pointed end will be no more.( brush would work then)
• Its not long lasting.
• Its not low cost lip colour.

Overall nice lip colour would recommend you to give it a try. At least your collection must have one .

DAILY SKIN CARE ( cleanser & toner )

Hello everyone.

Hope you all are enjoying badly hot weather in Karachi. And cherry on top is eid and Ramadan shopping, so how do u protect your skin from being dead, dull and dry after a hot day? Do you clean your skin? More than just washing your face with face wash.

Cleansing is the most important thing to do if you want to have a healthy skin. No matter who you are? a student, working women or house wife you move around in dust, heat, smoke and traffic which makes skin dull and dry and it start appearing lifeless. Moreover excessive sweating may also irritates your skin (same as my skin) if you don’t take care of your skin then these factors permanently damage your skin like freckles, Black heads  , early aging etc.

So let’s make your skin healthy J

1.       A Good face wash

2.       Choose a gentle cleanser

3.       And a toner 

Why toner is important after cleansing?

Cleanser cleans your skin by taking out dust or makeup from your skin leaving pores open and if you leave those pores remain open, dust will again set into those which creates pigmentation. Therefore it is necessary to use toner after cleansing. Toner also gives you younger, fresher and smoother look right after cleansing 

MY RECOMMENDATION.

I had a bad breakout (acne) and due to hectic routine of university my skin became so dull. I went to Naheed super store ( Karachi ) to have some cosmetics and luckily i went to  CLARINS counter, the girl at CLARINS counter gave me a cleanser and toner* and in just 15 days I felt a huge difference .now they both are part of my daily routine. Cleanser ( Cleansing Milk with alpine herbs ) is very mild and has soothing smell.it also works good as a makeup remover. Toner( Extra comfort toning lotion ) removes even the last trace of cleanser and refreshes my skin. I simply love them.

HOW DO I USE THEM?

1.       I wash my face with my face wash (* Mentholatum acne creamy face wash, imported from Malaysia) but you can use any face wash which suits your skin type.

2.       After drying your skin take Clarins Cleanser into your palm rub it into your palm to bring it on body temperature.

3.       Place your hand on your face and apply it on your entire face without rubbing and pressing it.

4.       Do suction with your hands on entire face (video LINK IS AVAILABLE AFTER 8TH STEP)

5.       Wait for 5 minutes

6.       Clean it with tissue paper or rinse it with warm water.

7.       After drying .take little quantity of toner on cotton ball and apply it on your face and leave it to dry.

8.       This step is optional but you can follow this for better result. Apply a good night cream *and sleep.( I do this in winters usually because my skin is so oily and creams ahhhh I don’t like in summers )

PRODUCTS *:

CLARINS Cleansing Milk with alpine herbs (normal to dry) from Naheed super Market PKR 2250/-

CLARINS Extra comfort toning lotion ( dry or sensitive skin ) from Naheed super Market PKR 2550/- I use sensitive skin one because i have this kind of skin you can have normal or dry version also depending on your skin type .

Mentholatum Acnes creamy wash . this is from Malaysia and India last time i got this from Malaysia and this time from India. you can use your suitable face wash.( this is the best face wash for people having acne )

 My Skin Mattifying cream by Essence you can find it at Naheed or any super market having essence counter PKR 550. i dont use this cream in summers as it has watery texture and causes sweating otherwise in winters it is perfect very light and fruity .

LIP LINER APPLICATION

Well hello to my first blog (tips/tutorial).Your lips are essential part of your face and if u make blunders with it your whole makeup will be ruined… most of the time our housewives don’t get time to have a proper makeup in their routine life .. So what they do? They just grab a lipstick shikh!! Shikh!! And done…most probably some of them apply it nicely and it stands out good. But some of them not... today's tip and tutorial is for part of applying lipstick, which is how to apply lip liner. In 1990s one of the blunders (considered by today's beauty professionals) happened and that was applying only lip liner or applying darker shade of lip liner than lipstick. Remember, Lip liner is meant to define your lips and lip colour not act as a lip colour. We used to see young girls wearing only lip liner without lipstick and usually of brown or maroon shades. eeeyuuu !!! And unfortunately it continuous today also. I decided to write this blog because I saw a girl last night at hospital with same blunderL. Trust me it is a bad idea to pair dark brown lip liner paired with nude lipstick.

First, mistakes we make while applying lip liner:

1. DARKER LIP LINER/WITHOUT LIPSTICK

Never apply a darker lip pencil. If u don’t have perfect match, go with lighter shade 1 or 2 shades lighter and even if it is not suitable leave it apply your lipstick with brush for perfect finish. But don’t go for darker shade. (if u do this then imagine yourself as a girl who is wearing long JHUMKEY , dark eye shade of single colour, bangles and of course dark lip liner and walking at sea view Karachi :P for me at least the perception would be this however you would not be wearing any of those jhumkhas and all but only THE dark lip liner, I would surely take you like that)

2.SLOW DOWN

Don’t try to make fake lips to create big and fuller lips initially, first try to learn how to outline natural shape of your lips. Making it look bigger, smaller, fuller etc. should be a concern after wards. Otherwise imagine how your lips would look like.bigger from one side and smaller from another. OHH common I don’t even want to think about it man…

3.SAY NO TO SHARP TIP:

 Don’t sharp your lip liner to a very fine tip it will create a harsh lines which will not be smudged perfectly with lipstick... use softer tip...

Now how to apply it:

Step 1 :Take lip liner going with your lipstick as mentioned above .

Step 2: with soft pencil tip apply it  on the lines of your lips. if you feel it harsh soften it with lip brush or if u don’t have that brush , no worries have a Q tip( cotton bud) and smudge it lightly .

Step 3:If you want to make your lip colour to stay longer than fill your lips with lip liner before lipstick.

Step 4:Apply your lipstick.
