BRAIDED WRAP BUN (quick and simple 3 IN 1 ).. TUTROIAL

Hello Beauties :
Welcome again to my blog, This time with another simple and quick tutorial of hair bun. In Summers everybody want their hair off from their neck thats the reason right now I am focusing more on hair buns tutorial because that's what all of you probably want.
I have wavy , and so much thick hair (mashAllah) and right now not of long length that is why i have heavy bun final look . If you have straight hair ( if you have time to straighten them ) then the look would be more clear .
This tutorial also contains two more stops in which you can leave this hair style as it is . because they them self become a hair styles ( 3 in 1 :) ) i will mention that stop :) . but you can continue till the final step if you want this braided WRAP.
Braided hair styles are totally in today. no matter it is wrap , bun ,or half up-Doe's. Do give it a try. they are simple , quick , easy and yet elegant :)
So Lets get Started :

STEP 1:

I dont have short bangs thats why in summers I like to secure them in any way I can .If you have small bangs you can leave them untied leaving this step .
In this step Section you bangs part in side parting, twist them and secure them with hair pins.

STEP 2:

Take crown section of your hair and tease them with teasing comb to give your crown area a little height ( always go in one direction from up to down )

STEP 3:

Secure you all hair into a ponytail and pull gently to loosen your hair band .

STEP 4:

Create a hole in your hair above the tie(hair band).and pull your hair through the hole.

STEP 5: ( First Stop )

This is a first stop you can leave your in twisted ponytail hair style.

STEP 6:

Section your pony tail and pull it to make your twist tight .

STEP 7:

In this step make simple three strand braid in to your pony tail ( you can even make fish tail braid in these hair . I want to keep this tutorial simple that's why i chose simple braid )

STEP 8: (Second Stop )

If you want braided look leave it till here . otherwise you may proceed

STEP 9:

In this step you need to secure your braid in the hole we have previously created in ponytail . ( dont pull through just set it inside it )
excuse me with small loose hair I have in my braid as I had steps cutting in my hair.

STEP 10:

Secure that wrap with pins . (Insert pins inside the hole of your hair to keep it tight )

STEP 11:

check afterwards if you are left with some loose hair out of your bun secure them too with hair pins.
( hair spray if you want  )

4. Secure it with a bobby or rubber band (loosely)

STEP 7:

7.Secure your bun nicely with bobby pins all around it.i always use good amount of pins in my hair.

STEP 8:

8.Now take both braids you have made before in front hair section, one by one and loosen them to make them look voluminous.

STEP 9 and 10:

9.In this step you are going to take one braid at a time and wrap it from back of your ear to the bottom of the bun , ( wrap it under and and then up if you have long braid ).
10.Secure the end of the braid with hair pins. Repeat step 9 and 10 with other side of the head too.. ( spray your hair if you want to i usually dont use it in my daily routine )

QUICK FALSE LASHES (baby powder trick)... TUTORIAL

Hello Friends.
Well I am lucky enough to be blessed with my papa's long lashes, but this even does not stop me for wanting more.
Yes, you can wear false lashes but if you want to go for a natural looking one that is kind of expensive plus not every body finds it easy to wear them every time they go out.
I have been reading this "BABY POWDER" trick all over internet so i thought why not I give it a go.because few simple makeup tricks make a huge difference to how you look and this trick actually works for me . May be because i already have long lashes but it was more thiker and fuller then applying just two coats of mascara.
So lets get started.

THINGS YOU NEED:
  • Mascara of your choice
  • Q-tip(commonly called cotton bud )
  • Baby powder ( i used johnson &johnson)
  • Lash Curler (optional)
  • Blush brush
LETS START:

first i want to show you my picture before applying this trick.

STEP 1:
Lash Curler

With a lash curler curl your lashes . This step is optional but i like my lashes curled before applying mascara .I got this lash curler from local cosmetic store and it works good for me .

STEP 2:

Apply mascara
Apply one coat of mascara of your own choice.

STEP 3:
baby powder

application

Now take a bit of BABY POWDER and roll Q-tip in it.Then coat your lashes with the baby powder using Q-tip. Make sure to coat it properly on upper and lower lashes and when your first coat of mascara is still wet.

STEP 4:
Now apply second coat of mascara on top of the baby powder and coat eash lash carefully but not do over do that .

Don't forget your lower lashes.coat them too with mascara.

STEP 5:

Brush off all the excess powder around your eyes and face.

AND WALLAAAHHH!!! you have thick ,fuller  and voluminousness lashes. Wear some eye makeup if you want or leave it the way they are with simple eye liner  Then why go for total pain of wearing false lashes with all that glue and dreaded removal.

                                                HERE IS THE FINAL LOOK

without eye makeup

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*QUICK TIP:after every heavy coverage of makeup try to remove it with any good makeup remover i use LOREAL PARIS Eye makeup remover( will post review soon ) or cleanser ( i use clarins REVIEW and USAGE HERE ) to save your skin from unwanted acne or breakouts.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS: excuse me with my eye brows as I don't shape them I like the way they are... all natural and soft look :)

PRODUCTS I USED:

Mascara : Extra Super Lash by Rimmel (PKR 900 Naheed Super market karachi )
Baby powder: Johnson & Johnson (dont know its price I got this from my niece :p)
Lash Curler : local one PKR 200

MANICURE and PEDICURE ... DIY (time and money saver ) using same tool kit..

HELLO again ....
In this blog i will be showing you how to do manicure and pedicure using the same tool kit i reviewed in my last blog ... ( do read it before this tutorial here is the link ... MANICURE & PEDICURE TOOL KIT REVIEW LINK)
whenever i find my hand dull and dirty and follow these simple steps with this kit and i am going to describe the same one .... then Why go to the salon when you can give yourself a perfect manicure and pedicure at home? . Lets learn how to transform your naughty nails into fabulous one.

                            STEPS for MANICURE:

STEP 1:

Gather all your supplies required for manicure
1.Nail polish remover
2. Cotton
3. Any moisturising cream
4. bowl of warm water.
5. nail polish ( optional )

From tool kit
:1. Cuticle Pusher

2. Cuticle Remover

3. Four Step Buffing tool

4. Hand Nail clipper (commonly called nail cutter)

5. Metal nail filer

6. Scrubbing brush.

STEP 2:

Remove any previous nail polish from your nails if any. Don't rub your nail too much with nail polish remover it damages and dries nail.

STEP 3:

Cut your nails if you think they have an extra length with nail clipper( nail cutter). be careful while cutting your nails to not to damage its shape if you want it afterwards.

STEP 4:

Shape your nails in your desired shape with metal nail filer . Remember always file your nails in one direction . and never file your nails after soaking your hands in warm water and even after taking bath because it soften your nails and filing may results in breakage.

STEP 5:

Soak your hands in warm water and add little bit of moisturising cream in it .i don't prefer adding soap or hand wash as it dries my hands and cuticles. soak it for 5 to 8 min. Take your hands out and clean it with towel.

STEP 6:

Push your cuticles with cuticle pusher to loosen them.( cuticles are dead skin around your nails )

STEP 7:

Carefully remove your Cuticles with cuticles remover
Make sure that your cuticles are soft enough to be pushed or removed . if yes then follow this step otherwise repeat step 5 before step 6 and 7...

STEP 8:

Well this is my Favourite part. using 4 steps buffer on your nails. start with .
  • begin to buff your nails with a gentle, side-to-side motion.
  • Move to the next roughest setting, and repeat with gentle side to side motion, again working to smooth out the nail.
  • Repeat with the third side of the buffer . named as BUFF,Do not over do it.
  • With the last (smoothest) part of the buffer, this is where you really get to work, polishing your nails until they look like shiny enough as u have just applied a clear coat on your nail
These steps are suppose to be done on the surface of the nails. I sometimes only wash my hands and do this buffing part . it individually works good too.

STEP 9:

apply soap on your hand and scrub it on your whole hands with scrubbing brush softly then dry it with towel

STEP 10:

Apply Any Moisturising cream or hand lotion on your hands . Apply nail colour of your choice if you want to.

And in this way you can easily have beautiful and healthy looking hands :)

                               NOW PEDICURE STEPS:

STEP 1:

Gather all your supplies required for manicure
1.Nail polish remover
2. Cotton
3. Any moisturising cream
4. tub/ bucket of warm water.
5. nail polish ( optional )
6. Salt 2 tablespoon

From tool kit:

1. Cuticle Pusher

2. Cuticle Remover

3. Four Step Buffing tool

4. Foot Nail clipper (commonly called nail cutter)

6. Metal nail failure

7. Toe Separator

8. Scrubbing Brush

9. Pumice Stone

10. Metal scrubber
.
11. Orange stick (wooden stick) (optional)

STEP 2.

Remove any previously applied nail polish.

STEP 3:

Cut your toe nail if they have an extra length.

STEP 4:

File your nails. ( if you don't have my kind of nails ... i have awful toe nails do not grow up straight :P there fore i can not file them i just can cut them )

STEP 5:

Add 2 table spoon of salt in warm water and soak your feet for 15 to 20 minutes sit back and relax because you need to soften your heel and foot ball dead skin too not only cuticles that's why soak it unless you feel those skin soft enough to be removed.

STEP 6:

Wear your toe separator. it will make further steps easier to do .( optional )

STEP 7:

Prepare your cuticles by pushing them with cuticle pusher.if they are hard then use orange stick flat part ( wooden stick)

STEP 8:

Remove excess cuticle with cuticle remover.

STEP 9:

use pumice stone on your heel and rub it hard to to scrub the dead skin from your heel and ball of your feet. You can scrub pretty roughly in these areas, because the skin is often very thick and dulled to pain.

STEP 10:

if you have very much hard skin then after pumice stone scrub metal scrubber lightly . other wise you can skin this step.. and if you have soft skin and not very much dead eels you can use any one of them ( pumice stone or metal scrubber )

STEP 12:

Wash your feet , using scrubbing brush with soap on your entire feet and between toes.

STEP 13:

Remove your feet from the soaking tub completely and empty it out. now use 4 way buffer same as mentioned above ( in manicure STEP 8 ) . and apply moisturizing cream or foot scrub on your feet .

STEP 14:

Apply nail colour if you want :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
